Initial Meeting
Assessment and Therapy
Assessments take place over two sessions and are charged at £120 per session.

Individual therapy appointments cost £120. Each appointment lasts approximately 50 minutes.
​
Couples therapy appointments are £150 for 50 minute sessions.
​
Payment
For clients who are self funding, payment should be made 48 hours in advance of the session by bank transfer. Clients can pay in advance for a set number of appointments.
​
We offer a sliding fee scale for those on low income, students, and keyworkers. Please discuss this in your free initial consultation.
​
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend your appointment then please let your Psychologist know at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not provide 48 hours notice or miss a session, you will be liable for the full cost of the session.

Private Health Insurance
Shiel Psychological Services is registered with AXA PPP, Aviva, Cigna, BUPA, WPA and Vitality. Please contact them first to proceed with the authorisation of your sessions.
​
You will need to provide the authorisation code from your insurer when booking an appointment. It is advisable that you confirm with your insurer that you will not be responsible for payment of any appointments.
​
Cancellation
As insurers do not cover missed or cancelled sessions, you will be responsible for any such absences as set out in our terms and conditions.

Supervision
I offer a free 30 minute consultation to explore our fit.
​
Supervision is £100 per 55 minute session
